Fricke, Henry (9 JAN 1822 - 27 Feb 1911)

Henry Fricke was born Jan. 9, 1822, at Hanover, Germany, and died at the round old age of 89 years. He came to this country in 1860 and settled at Buffalo, Iowa, where he made his home until coming to this city in 1902. He was married in 1870 to Magdalene Lehrman. To this union three children were born. At his death the only relatives surviving him were one nephew and five nieces, his children having died between the ages of nineteen and twenty-five years. He followed the trade of stone mason until old age prevented him from labor.

Since his coming to Greenwood, Clark County, Wis., he made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Zetsche, the greatest part of the time, and at whose home he passed away. Funeral services were held at the Presbyterian Church last Sunday afternoon, Rev. David Wilson officiating. Interment was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
