GREENWOOD GLEANER (Greenwood, Wis.) 11/13/1913 Einfeldt, Augusta
C. (9 Feb 1840 - 2 NOV 1913) Augusta Caroline
Grosser was born in Selesia, Germany, Feb. 9th, 1840. She early
gave her life to the Lord, was baptized and united with the Baptist
Church in 1859. In 1868 she came
to Chicago and was united in marriage to F.W. Einfeldt the
following year. They continued to reside in that city until 1895,
when they came to Greenwood, Clark County, Wis., settling on their
farm north of this city, which has ever since been their home. In
her usual health Sunday morning, she was suddenly stricken down,
heart failure being the cause of death. She was the mother
of eight children, four of who preceded her to the home beyond.
Besides her aged husband, she leaves to mourn, Lydia, Richard and
George living at home, Albert, also of this place, one
step-daughter, Mrs. E.O. Boyle of Butte, Mont., four brothers,
August, William, Robert and Reinhold of Chicago, and 11
grandchildren.
