DEC 1872 - 14 Feb 1913) Olaf Hansen was
born in Laurvig, Norway, Dec. 15, 1872. When a young man he
immigrated to this county, where he has resided as a hard working
man, always caring for the needs of his family, and holding the
respect of his fellow men by his kindly disposition. After several
years of suffering with kidney trouble and other complication,
death claimed him Friday Feb. 14th, 1913, at his home in Owen,
Clark County, Wis. He leaves a little daughter and a wife who is a
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ole M. Johnson of this city, to mourn his
demise. Funeral services
were held at the M.E. Church in this city Monday afternoon at two
o’clock, Rev. J.B. Braddock officiating. Interment was made
in the Greenwood Cemetery. The pallbearers
were members of Black River Camp of M.W.A. of Withee, who were here
with other members to pay their last respects to the deceased.
