APR 1816 - 6 Augl 1913) Lyman Flower died
at the home of his daughter, Mrs. May Boyce, on Wednesday, Aug.
6th, 1913, at the aged of 97 years and 4 months. The funeral was
held Friday afternoon, with interment in the Greenwood
Cemetery. Lyman Flower was
born in Oneida Co., N.Y., April 6, 1816. At the age of 21 years he
came west locating in DuPage Co., Ill., where he was married to
Miss Harriet McMillan June 2nd, 1844, to this union was born seven
children, four of who are still living. Soon after his
marriage Mr. Flower came to Wisconsin, locating first in Dane Co.
and later in Calumet Co., where he suffered the loss of his wife in
1869, since that time he has lived with his daughters, residing the
past twenty years with Mrs. Boyce. He is survived by
two sisters, Mrs. Cordelia M. Grout and Mrs. Elsa E. Dean, both of
California, and also one son, J.W., of Powell, Wyoming, and three
daughters, Mrs. S.C. Ware and Mrs. E.A. Jensen of Albany, Oregon,
and Mrs. May Boyce of this place (Greenwood, Clark County, Wis.).
