Blomquist, John A. (13 Augl 1855 - 30 NOV 1914)

John A. Blomquist was born in Kalmar, Sweden, Aug. 13th, 1855. He came to this country in May 1891, and settled in Rockford, Ill., at which place he was united in marriage to Miss Hilda Sandall May 12th, 1894. The family moved to Wisconsin in 1902 and settled on a farm at Tioga, Clark County, Wis. In Oct. 1911 he and family came to Greenwood and have since lived with their daughter, Mrs. Albert Peterson.

Deceased was taken ill some time ago, with Bright’s disease, which culminated in his death on Monday, Nov. 30, 1914, at the age of 59 years.

Funeral services were held at the home at one o’clock Friday afternoon, Rev. A.B. Dyre officiating. Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
