GREENWOOD GLEANER (Greenwood, Wis.) 11/08/1917 Palms, Emma (30
MAR 1853 - 2 NOV 1917) Emma Headley was
born in Elgin Co., Canada in 1853 and died at her home at Tioga,
Clark County, Wis., Oct. 29, 1917, the cause of her death being
pneumonia. Deceased was
united in marriage to Jesse M. Palms Oct. 3, 1868. Three children
were born to this union, of which one son died in infancy. She leaves to
mourn her early demise her husband and two children, Nelson Eugene
and Bessie L. Palms, besides many other relatives and a host of
friends. Mrs. Palms was
very devoted to her home and family. She was a kind and loving wife
and mother and well-liked by all who knew her. Funeral services
were held at the home Wednesday a.m., Rev. John Haw of Augusta
delivered the address. Interment was made in the Greenwood Cemetery
Thursday a.m. Those present form
out of town were Mrs. T.E. Richards, Buffalo Lake, Minn., Mr. F.
Hiltz, Mrs. Geo. Hiltz, Mrs. E.J. Heard, Mrs. Harold Rose, Mrs. F.
Campbell, Augusta, Wis., Mr. S.N. Palms, Mrs. J. Daughenbaugh, Mrs.
C.D. Shepard, Hudson, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. J. Ripplinger,
Neillsville, Wis., and Mr. and Mrs. Flick, Fairchild, Wis.
