APR 1920) Henry Christian August Hendrickson was
born in Christiania, Norway, on Aug. 19th, 1831 and died at
Greenwood, Clark County, Wis., April 29, 1920, being 88 years, 8
months and 10 days old. He was united in marriage in 1850 to Miss
Agnetta Nelson and to this union was born three children, one
having preceded him in death. He is survived by one son, Hans M.
Hendrickson of Ladysmith, Wis., and one daughter, Mrs. Lena Johnson
of this city, and an adopted son, Arthur Bratly Hendrickson of
Detroit Lakes, Minn., nine grandchildren and twenty-five
great-grandchildren. His wife died in Oct. 1888 at Arcadia Wis. Mr.
Hendrickson immigrated to America in 1865, his family following the
next year. He located in Chicago, where he remained several years
working at his trade, being a brick mason builder, which trade he
followed until 1903 with the exception of some years he worked at
farming in Trempeleau Co. In 1903 he retired and came to make his
home with his daughter, Mrs. Johnson. Those who attended the
funeral from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Hendrickson and
Mrs. Adolph Hendrickson, all from Ladysmith, Wis. Family Notes
