Poole, Fern I. (11 NOV 1892 - 19 Jan 1921)

Fern Irene Maxwell was born at Reedsburg, Wis., Nov. 11th, 1892, the youngest of five children. At three years of age she was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Dingley of Greenwood, Clark County, Wis.

On June 29, 1909 she was united in marriage to Leroy J. Poole of Greenwood. Three children were born to them, two daughters, Eloise Irene and Lucia Jeanette, one son Norman Allan.

She enjoyed good health until Dec. 1918, when she had a hemorrhage of the lungs and from that time has been gradually failing. On May 3, 1920 she was taken to Glen Lake Sanatorium at Hopkins, Minn., where she passed away on Jan. 19, 1921 at the age of 28 years, 2 months and 3 days.

Mrs. Poole was a kin and loving wife and mother and her death is keenly felt by the bereaved family and relatives.

She leaves to mourn her loss, husband, three children and her mother, Mrs. Mary Dingley Sweet.

The remains were brought to Greenwood for burial, the funeral taking place last Saturday afternoon from the M.E. Church, Rev. Bickell officiating. Interment was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
