JUL 1853 - 20 Sep 1921) Mrs. Ida Zetsche
died at her home at Greenwood, Clark County, Wis., Sept. 20,
1921. Ida Fricke was
born in Washington Co., Wis., July 17, 1853. When she was two years
old her folks immigrated to Waco, Texas in a prairie schooner,
returning in 1857 to Newburg, Wis. On Nov. 21, 1872 she was united
in marriage to Frank Zetsche. They moved onto
their farm southeast of Greenwood, where they resided until 1898,
when they came to Greenwood to make their home. Deceased was a
loving wife and mother and her death is a great loss to the
immediate relatives and friends. She leaves to
mourn her loss her husband, one son, Robert and one daughter, Mrs.
Thomas Fahey, besides three grandchildren, one brother of Hurtly,
Mont.; five sisters, Mrs. Minnie Woodward and Emma Servaty of
Fresno, Cal., Louise Bauer of Oregon City, Ore., Bertha Hanson of
Portland, ore., and Matilda Baeschlin of Greenwood. Funeral services
were held from the M.E. Church Monday Oct. 8 and the body laid to
rest in the Greenwood Cemetery.
