died at her home at Fairchild last Thursday Jan. 10, 1924, of
Pneumonia. Artimissa Doretta
Cox was born May 27, 1882 in the town of Eaton, Clark County, Wis.
At the time of her death she was 41 years, 7 months and 16 days of
age. She is survived by
her husband and eight children, also two sisters and five brothers.
The six sisters and brothers are Mrs. Sarah Cook of Washington;
Mrs. Jim McConnell of Greenwood; Sidney Cox of Greenwood; Ernest
Cox of Greenwood; Eph. Cox of Fond du Lac, George Cox of NWT Sheho,
Canada and Fred Cox of NWT Sheho, Canada. She is also survived by
Mrs. Ivan Stoneberg, a sister of Mrs. Grim’s, besides many
friends. Mrs. Grim was a
woman much loved by all who knew her. In her home she was active
and industrious, looking well to the needs of her husband and
children. She was a kind and helpful neighbor, ever ready to be of
assistance when help was needed. The body was
brought to this city for buiral. Funeral services were held from
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Sid Cox Monday afternoon at two
o’clock and at 2:30 from the local M.E. Church, Rev. T.O.
Thompson officiating. The body was laid to rest in the Greenwood
Cemetery.
