Pfunder, Catherine (1845? - 27 May 1929)
Mrs. Catherine Pfunder passed away at Minneapolis, where she had been spending the winter, Monday morning, May 27th, 1929, after an illness of short duration. Deceased was 84 years of age.
Mrs. Pfunder was one of Greenwood’s best like women and was highly respected by all.
The body will be brought to her old home here Thursday and funeral services will be held from the M.E. Church Friday afternoon at 2:00 P.M. The body will be laid to rest in the Greenwood Cemetery.
A more compete obituary will be published next week. ( I could not find an obituary in subsequent weeks issues of the Gleaner)
