APR 1905 - 28 Mar 1932) Mrs. Edith Franks,
wife of Dana R. Franks, was born in Tunnel City, Wis., April 2,
1905. She passed away at her home in the town of Warner, Monday
afternoon March 28, 1932, at four o’clock, attaining the age
of 26 years, 11 months and 26 days. The cause of her death was
pneumonia and other complications. Two children, Alice May and
Edith Julia Franks preceded her in death March 21, 1932. She leaves to
mourn her loss her husband, Dana, and four sons Dewain, Wayne, Zane
and Cleatus. Other relatives are her father and mother, Mr. and
Mrs. W.C. Greene and his mother, Mrs. C.A. Franks, and four
brothers and two sisters, George Greene, Tunnel City; Amos Greene,
Durand; Mrs. Fred Purday, Tomah and Mrs. Maynard Franks,
Greenwood. In Nov. 1923 she
was united in marriage to Dana R. Franks at Tunnel City. About two
years ago the family moved to the town of Warner. Funeral services
were held from the Franks home yesterday afternoon at two
o’clock. The body was laid to rest in the Braun Settlement
Cemetery. Rev. E.G. Pfeiffer officiated.
