(6 JUN 1884 - 19 Feb 1935) Ivan H. Stoneburg
was born in Greenwood, Clark County, Wis., June 6, 1884. On Sept. 9, 1907
he was united in marriage with Miss Agnes Grim at Fairchild. They
moved to Montana in 1918 and to Fairchild in 1921, returning to
Greenwood in 1924. For the past ten years he was a resident of
Marshfield, where he followed the carpenter trade, working in the
Roddis Veneer factory. Mr. Stoneburg had been in ill health since
March 1932, when he suffered a stroke. He passed away at
his home in Marshfield Tuesday evening, Feb. 19, 1935 from a
paralytic stroke. He leaves to mourn
his passing, his wife, two sons, Earl of Crete, Ill. And Orville at
home; five brothers, Herbert of Saskatchewan, Canada; Bert and Ray
of Wild Rose, N.D.; Ed of Tacoma, Wash.; Louis of Greenwood; three
sisters, Violet of Tacoma, Wash.; Helen of Girard, Mont.;
Charlotte, Mrs. Fred Francis of Greenwood, Wis., also a
half-brother Erwin of Marshfield, Wis.; and four half-sisters,
Edith, May, Edna and Norma, all residing near Marshfield, and one
grandchild. The body was
brought to Greenwood Saturday, where funeral services were held at
2:00 o’clock from the local Methodist Church, Rev. Glenn
Shanks officiating. The body was laid to rest in the Greenwood
Cemetery.
