(1841 - 18 NOV 1920) Mrs. Wm. Wegner
died suddenly in the night Nov. 18th, 1920, at her home in the town
of Grant, Clark County, Wis., being found dead in bed by her
husband. Mrs.
Wegner’s maiden name was Fredericke Witt. She was born in
Germany in 1841; was married to Wm. Wegner in 1872; they came to
America in 1883, and lived three years in Neillsville, Wis., then
moving to their farm in Grant. To them were born four sons: Albert,
Otto and Max, who live in Marshfield, and Rudolph living on the
home farm. Mrs. Wegner was a
home loving woman who devoted her life to the good of her family
and to such neighborly deeds of kindness as she could do. The funeral was
held at the home on Saturday, Rev. Brandt officiating, burial in
Grant Cemetery.
