(1838 - 3 Jan 1921) John Lentzkow died
suddenly Jan. 3, 1921 at the home of his son Carl Lentzkow in
Neillsville, Clark County, Wis., the cause being apoplexy. Deceased
was born in Germany in 1833, and was in his 88th year. He came to
America in 1887 and lived several years with his daughter, Mrs. H.
Hanschmann, and after the death of his wife he lived with his son
Carl. He was a man of industry and high character, and a good
citizen in every way. He leaves four children: Carl Lentzkow, Mrs.
H. Hanschmann, Mrs. Julius Wolff and Mrs. Ed Remus. The funeral was
held Wednesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Rev. Brandt
officiating.
