County Republican & Press (Neillsville, Wis.) 02/10/1921 Johnson, Homer C.
(9 Mar 1903 - 31 Jan 1921) Homer C. Johnson,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Johnson of Pine Valley, Clark County,
Wis., died at their home Jan. 31, 1921, aged 17 years, 10 months
and 22 days. He was born at Saxeville in Waushara Co. and came with
his parents to Neillsville in November 1919, they having bout the
Dave Wood farm. He was a bright intelligent boy, helpful at home
and on the farm and well liked by all who knew him. He took cold
about Dec. 1, pleurisy and pneumonia followed, and then quick
consumption. His death has made sad and desolate the home, and his
parents and brother have the sympathy of the whole community. The funeral was
held last Thursday at the Congregation Church, Rev. G. Longenecker
preaching the funeral sermon.
