(6 NOV 1846 - 18 May 1921) Frank Herman
Drescher, who died at his home in Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.,
May 18, 1921, was born Nov. 6, 1846, at Borgishein, Sachsen,
Altenburg. He came to America in 1871. He was married to Natalie
Keke and settled in the town of Grant, Clark County, where he
followed farming for many years. He was a man of fine character,
industrious and honest. He is survived by seven children; four sons
and three daughters: Mrs. Louis Klinkert of Racine; Mrs. Henry
Pohlkamp, Milwaukee, Clara at home, Oscar, Alfred, Arthur and Arne,
all on farms near Neillsville. He leaves also eight grandchildren
and six brothers and one sister: Mrs. Augusta Jahr, and Louis
Drescher in Grant, Frederick in Colorado, Alvin in Milwaukee,
Bernhard in Chili and Robert in Columbus, Wis. The funeral was
held last Friday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Rev. H.
Brandt officiating.
