(20 Mar 1842 - 8 JUN 1921) John Neubecker,
one of the old residents of the town of Levis, Clark County, Wis.,
died at his home June 8, 1921, aged 79 years, 2 months and 19 days.
Deceased was born in Austria, where he was married. Twenty-five
years ago he came to this country and settled on a new farm near
Rock Creek in Levis, where they developed a fine home. Mr.
Neubecker was a very industrious honest man. He spent most of his
time about his home and farm, helping all he was able. He leaves his wife
and four sons, George, William, Valentine, and Matt, and one
daughter, Lizzie. The funeral was
held Friday, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Rev. Hasz of
Granton officiating. Those from a
distance who came to attend the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Wm.
Neubecker and two children, and Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Rudolf and two
children, all from Chicago.
