County Republican & Press (Neillsville, Wis.) 07/01/1920 Bryan, Agnes
(Marriage - 23 JUN 1920) Mr. James D.
Cummings and Miss Agnes Bryan were married Wednesday afternoon June
23, 1920, at the home of the brides parents, Mr. and Mrs. John
Bryan, in the town of Levis, Clark County, Wis., Rev. L.B. Colman
officiating. The day was fine and the ceremony took place on the
front lawn. The bride and groom were attended by Walter Bryan, the
bride’s brother, and Miss Ruth Short. The ring ceremony was
used, and with outdoor surroundings it made a very pretty
scene. The groom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. John Cummings of South Pine Valley, Clark
County, Wis. He was born and grew up on his father’s farm and
is a young man of industry and energy. The bride came
here last fall with her parents from Dane Co. and has made a very
favorable impression on all whom she has met. The young couple
left Thursday for a wedding trip. We join in wishing
them a happy and prosperous life.
