County Republican & Press (Neillsville, Wis.) 09/23/1920 Maxwell, Irene
(Marriage - 10 Sep 1920) Mr. Leo J. Miller
and Miss Irene Maxwell were married at the First Baptist Church,
Minneapolis, Sept. 10, 1920, Rev. Riley the pastor officiating. The groom who was
brought up in Michigan, came here several years ago and established
a pool hall, purchasing a building which he has greatly improve. He
is an active man in all public enterprises and has a very wide
circle of friends among the young men. The bride is the daughter of
Mrs. Myrtle Maxwell. She grew to womanhood here (Neillsville, Clark
County, Wis.), graduated from Neillsville High School and has been
employed in different positions here. She is a young lady of many
fine qualities. Mr. and Mrs.
Miller will go to housekeeping in the nicely arranged rooms in his
business building, as soon as they can be vacated by Mr. and Mrs.
G.C. Youmans, who now have them rented. We offer the newly
weds our sincere congratulations and best wishes.
