Raine, Ruby I. (Marriage - 20 OCT 1920)

Mr. Harold A. Shedden and Miss Ruby I. Raine were united in marriage Wednesday evening, Oct. 20, 1920, at the home of the bride’s sister, Mrs. Harold Huckstead on Pleasant Ridge, Clark County, Wis. Rev. W.T. Scott performed the ceremony. The bride and groom were unattended. It was a simple home wedding, only relatives and close friends of the bride and groom being present.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Raine. She has lived here since she was a small girl, and her fine womanly qualities have won for her the admiration of all who know her. Especially do her friends recognize her helpfulness in her home life, that beautiful quality which crowns all others in a woman’s life. The groom came here from Dundee, Ill., where his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Shedden reside. He has a good position in the Neillsville Condensery. He is efficient, gentlemanly, and a young man of high standards of life.

This young couple begin their new life with excellent prospects of success. They will begin housekeeping at once in the house the groom purchased recently on Court St.
