(Marriage - 14 Feb 1921) Miss Clare
Elizabeth Korman was married to Dr. Emery Westby Burley Feb. 14,
1921, in Portland, Oregon, at the home of her sister, Mr. and Mrs.
H.W. Jessup; after a short wedding trip they will make their home
in Seattle, Wash., where Mr. Burley has his dental office. The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Korman of this city (Neillsville,
Clark County, Wis.). She grew to womanhood here, graduated from
Neillsville High School in the class of 1912. She studied music at
Madison, Wis., and Potsdam, N.Y. For the past three years she has
had a position in the Northern Pacific Railroad offices at
Portland, Ore. She is a young lady of exceptional talent and beauty
of character. To the groom May be offered sincere congratulations
in his choice of a wife. He is unknown to the people here, but from
reports we May well believe that he is in every way worthy. We offer them our
very best wishes.
