County Republican & Press (Neillsville, Wis.) 03/17/1921 De Lane, Margaret
K. (Marriage - 22 Feb 1921) Word was received
by relatives here that Margaret Katherine De Lane and Mr. Homer A.
Latten were married at the bride’s home in Los Angeles, Cal.,
Feb. 22, 1921. It was a home wedding, about 50 guests being
present. The decorations were smilax and carnations. Among the out of
town guests were Judge and Mrs. S.M. Marsh and son Hallan, Mr. and
Mrs. S.R. Cannon, Mr. and Mrs. Byron Cannon, all of San Diego, and
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Peters of Seattle, Wash. The bride will be
remembered by many friends here (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.),
as the eldest daughter of A.H. De Lane, and although it is about
ten years since the family moved to California, many will be
interested to know of the marriage, and will wish the bride and
groom happiness and prosperity. The writer feels
more than a passing interest in this marriage, as he has known the
bride since she was a little child, and joins most heartily in the
good wishes for her welfare. After a trip to
Santa Barbara the couple returned to Los Angeles, where the groom
is in business with his father. They will begin housekeeping in
apartments until a new house, which the groom is building, is
complete.
