Holmburg, Frances (Marriage - 16 Apr 1921)

Cards are received announcing the marriage of Mr. Harry Ellis Benedict to Miss Frances Holmburg at Indianapolis, April 16, 1921. They will be at home after June 1 at 151 West eighty-sixth St. New York City.

The groom, who is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Benedict of Neillsville, Clark County, Wis., was born on their farm in the town of Grant, attended Neillsville High School, graduating in 1907, took the course in commerce in the University of Wisconsin, and soon after graduating was given a position in the National City Bank of New York. Later he became private secretary to Mr. Frank A. Vanderlip, president of the bank, and in connection with the business, has carried out many important transactions. He accompanied Mr. Vanderlip on his trip to Europe and later on his trip to Japan. During the war they had in hand many important missions for the government. He is still associated with Mr. Vanderlip.

The bride’s early home was in California. She graduated last year from the University of Wisconsin and has considerable business experience.

We offer our sincere good wishes for the happiness of their coming years.
