County Republican & Press (Neillsville, Wis.) 06/09/1921 Kessler, Lena
(Marriage - 7 JUN 1921) Mr. Baltz Hoesly
and Miss Lena Kessler were married at St. Mary’s Catholic
Church at 9 o’clock Tuesday morning, June 7, 1921, Rev. P.
Weber officiating. The groom was attended by Mr. Carl Kessler, Jr.,
brother of the bride, and Miss Tillie Wasserburger was bridesmaid.
The bride wore a blue crepe de chine. The groom, who is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Markus Hoesly of this city (Neillsville, Clark County,
Wis.), is a prosperous young farmer of North Pine Valley. He is a
young man of energy and is making a success of his business, and
takes an active part in the community affairs. The bride is the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kessler, Sr., who came here several
years ago from Iowa and bought a farm in North Pine Valley. She has
always lived at home and is well qualified to take up the duties of
the new home into which she enters. She is a fine young lady and
much liked by all who know her. After a reception given at the home
of the bride’s parents, the young couple left for a trip to
Iowa, expecting also to visit in Milwaukee and Sheboygan, before
returning to take up housekeeping on the groom’s farm. We
wish them success and happiness.
