County Republican & Press (Neillsville, Wis.) 07/14/1921 Allen, Lottie
(Marriage - 4 Jul 1921) Mr. Claued
Thompson and Miss Lottie Allen were married at Winona, Minn., July
4, 1921. After an auto trip of about 11 00 miles they arrived home
Saturday. They visited the Dells at Kilbourn and many other points
of interest in Wisconsin and Minnesota. The groom is
engaged in the garage business here (Neillsville, Clark County,
Wis.), being one of the firm of Thompson & Dorn. His home was
formerly at Black River Falls, but he had been in the automobile
business in Canada most of the time until he came here two years
ago. He is a very competent young man, an expert in his line of
work, accommodating with customers and well liked by all who know
him. The bride is the
daughter of Mrs. Elvina Allen. She was born and brought up in
Neillsville, educated in Neillsville Schools and has for some time
had positions in the North Side and the Dangers Co. stores. She has
always been helpful to her mother and has all the qualities that
fit her for the care of a home. The young couple will live for the
present with Mrs. Allen.
