(Marriage - 18 Augl 1921) Mr. Cleon Balch
and Miss Ruth Marion Foster were married at the summer home of the
bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Percy J. Foster, at Ontonagon,
Mich., Aug. 18, 1921. The groom is the
son of Mr. and Mrs. F.O. Balch of Milwaukee, formerly of
Neillsville, Clark County, Wis. He was born in this city and spent
his childhood days here. He graduated from the West Division High
School in Milwaukee and entered the State University. His course
there was interrupted by the war. He entered the army and served
till the close of the war, when he completed his course in electric
engineering. He is employed in the research department of the
Milwaukee Electric Co. He is a young man of fine character and
likable qualities. The bride is a Milwaukee girl, her father being
a prominent businessman of that city. She is highly esteemed by
those people here who have met her. The bride and groom visited
Neillsville from Saturday till Monday on their wedding trip. We join in
offering our sincere good wishes to this fine young couple.
