Schultz, Marguerite (18 Sep 1912 - 19 Sep 2002)

Marguerite "Sis" V. Schultz, 90, Spencer, Wis., died on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2002, at Saint Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 23, at the United Methodist Church, Spencer. The Rev. Lois Takata officiated. Burial was in the West Spencer Cemetery. Pallbearers were Wayne Seefeld, Ronald Seefeldt, Dennis Mellenthin, Charles Bruesewitz, Richard Bruss and Scott Bruss.

Marguerite V. Harger was born on Sept. 18, 1912, in Benton County, Iowa, to Allen and Mary Harger. She attended school at Dysart, Iowa. She married Melvin Schultz on Oct. 16, 1937, in Neillsville. They farmed in the town of Unity and she lived there until moving to the Ponderosa Apartments in Spencer on Sept. 18, 1991. Her interests included gardening and flowers.

Survivors include nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Melvin; and two brothers Donald "Duke" Harger and Roy Harger.

Community Funeral Home, Spencer, assisted the family with arrangements.
