"Jerry" Beilke, 70, of Thorp, Clark County, Wis., died Sunday,
Sept. 22, 2002, at Lakeside Nursing and Rehabilitation in Chippewa
Falls. Services will be
held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Thorp.
Interment will follow in the East Thorp Cemetery. Visitation will
be held at Thorp Funeral Home from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and
again at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services
Wednesday. Gerald was born on
Dec. 22, 1931, in Wausau, the son of Harris and Esther (nee
Gruening) Beilke. He lived in St. Cloud, Minn. and graduated from
high school in Wausau. After which he joined the Marine Corps
serving during the Korean Conflict. Jerry was joined in marriage to
Dianne Fosdal Stout in 1960. He was very active
in live and in his later years was employed at WI Independent
Businessmen as a sales manager in LaCrosse and Madison. He retired
in 1995 due to failing health and the couple moved to Thorp to be
closer to family. Surviving him are
his wife, Dianne; three daughters, Cheryl (Richard) Mitchell, of
Holcombe, Dr. Debra (Valentin) Beilke-Bogorov, of St. Paul, Minn.,
and Barbara Keller, of Jackson, Tenn.; four sons, Curtiss (Amy), of
Thorp, Scott (Susan), of Lake Forest, Ill., Mark, of Vienna, Va.,
Robert, of Jackson, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Leroy
(Alice), of Evansville, Ind., and Richard (Delores), of Waukesha;
two sisters, Delores (August) Wendorf, of Eagle River, and Joan
(Ed) Cohen, of Wausau.
