Marie Hansen, 73, of the town of Hixon, Withee, Clark County, Wis.,
died Oct. 9, 2002. Funeral services
will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Nazareth Lutheran Church. Burial
will be in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be
from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church. Maurina Funeral
Home of Owen is assisting the family with the arrangements. She was born May
2, 1929, in the town of York to Clarence and Naomi (nee Durst)
Vandeberg. She married Harry B. Hansen and he died on Aug. 12,
2002. The couple farmed in the town of Hixon and she worked for
more than 25 years as a secretary in the Owen-Withee schools. Surviving her are
her daughters, Carole (Ronald) Buss of Withee, Judith (Russell)
Judnic of Stanley and Charlene (Dennis) Poppe of Brown Deer; seven
grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and her brothers and
sisters, Alice Piper of Springfield, Ore., Jeanette Will of Colby,
Verlyn Vandeberg of LaPine, Ore., Milford Vandeberg of Washington
state, Dorothy Eckes of Marshfield, Ivan Vandeberg of Springfield,
Ore., Marvin Vandeberg of Orangeville, Ill., and Shirley Willhite
of Springfield, Ore.
