OWEN - Lester Kallberg, 84, formerly of Owen, Clark County, Wis., died Dec. 22, 2002, at Continental Manor Nursing Home in Abbotsford.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at the Maurina Funeral Home in Owen. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Withee.
He was born Dec. 30, 1917, in Chicago, Ill., to Gustav and Jenny (Petersen) Kallberg. He married Beverly Fischer on Feb. 23, 1963. They farmed in the town of Green Grove until retirement.
Surviving are his wife, Beverly Kallberg of Owen; children, Gary (Theresa) Kallberg of Fairbanks, Alaska, Greg (Mary) Kallberg of Owen, Carl Kallberg of Owen and Melanie (Randy) DeCoster of Chilton. He is further survived by nine grandchildren.
