SCHLINSOG, HAROLD AND RUTH

Harold's father was Herman A. Schlinsog. He bought the present farm on Co. Trunk H in 1929 from J. Spry. It is known as "Middle Brook Farm" a registered name, taken from the name of the stream, Middle Brook which flows through the farm. There are 120 acres in the home farm and 40 acres two miles west. In 1946 Harold and Ruth (Snyder) bought it from his father.

They are the parents of three married children, Stevyn, Granton; LeOra Bezlyk of Chili, and Karen Wegner of Appleton. Harold's siters are Lillian (Mrs. Walter Zahnow) of Neillsville, and Alma (Mrs. Vere Snyder) of Eugene, Oregon. Harold's grandparents came from Germany by ship.
