Mrs. Eli Hake, who died at her home in the town of Grant, Clark County, Wis., Sept. 22, 1916, was born in Germany Nov. 19, 1851. She came to America in July 1866; was married to Eli Hake, July 8, 1874 in Jefferson County, Wis. They lived there twenty-seven years, then came to Neillsville, buying the farm in Grant, which has been their home ever since.
