Tucker, Elizabeth (Marriage - 16 Augl 1916)
Mr. Murray R. Benedict and Miss Elizabeth Tucker were married at the home of the bride's parents at Kewaunee, Ill., Aug. 16, 1916. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Benedict, of this city (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.) He was born and grew up on the farm home in the town of Grant, graduated from Neillsville High School in 1909, and after completing the Middle Course in Agriculture at the State University, he taught Agriculture at Boscobel a year; returned to the University and copleted the Long Course in Agriculture, and was immediately offered a position at Aurora, Minn., which he now holds. He is a young man of efficiency and high character. The bride is not known to many here, but on a recent visit she met a number of our people. Those who know her best speak of her as a most lovable young lady of rare intelligence and high ideals.
The young couple arrived here Saturday for a short visit among the groom's relatives, going on to Aurora, Minn. Monday. We join with their other friends in extending best wishes for their success in life.
