Retzlaff, Emma M.(Marriage - 24 Oct 1916)

Mr. Carl Zais and Miss Emma Marion Retzlaff, both of the town of Lynn, Clark County, Wis., were married at the M.E. parsonage Oct. 24, 1916, Rev. L.B. Colman officiating. Mr. Carl Renne, as groomsman, and Miss Marie Neumann, as bridesmaid, attended them. At six o'clock a wedding supper and reception were given at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Retzlaff, at which a goodly number of invited guests were present, and greatly enjoyed the occasion. The groom is a young man of excellent character and standing in the community, industrious and progressive. The bride has all those qualities of worthy womanhood, and is well fitted to make and maintain a good home. They have bought out the Retzlaff farm and will carry it on for themselves. We join in wishing them success and happiness.
