Brown, Edna (Marriage - 21 Dec 1916)
The home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Brown, in the town of Grant, Clark County, Wis., was the scene of a pretty home wedding, Thursday afternoon, Dec. 21, 1916, when their daughter Edna was united in marriage with Mr. Edward Boltman of Fairbault, Minn.
The ceremony was performed by Rev. S.B. Pinney of Neillsville. The bride's brother, Milo Brown and his wife attended the young couple.
The bride was born and grew to womanhood in the town of Grant. Last summer she went to visit a married sister near Fergus Falls, Minn., and there met the groom, returning a few weeks ago to prepare for the wedding. She is an amiable young lady, and highly respected by all who know her.
The groom is to some extent a stranger here, but is a young man of fine appearance and pleasant manner. He is engaged in farming on a large scale in North Dakota, and the young couple will doubtless make their home there in the future, but for the winter will reside at Fairbault, Minn.
We wish them the greatest success and happiness.
