Landgraf, Lesa (Marriage - 18 Jan 1917)
Mr. William E. Weast of the town of Weston, Clark County, Wis., and Miss Lesa Landgraf of this city, were united in marriage at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Landgraf, Thursday, Jan. 18, 1917, Rev. G.W. Longenecker officiating. Miss Ruth Weast, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid, and Mr. Leon Landgraf, bother of the bride, was groomsman. Miss Mae Phillips played the wedding march. About thirty guests, mostly relatives and near friends of the young couple, were present. After the ceremony a fine wedding supper was served.
The groom, son of Mrs. E. E. Weast, is a prosperous young farmer, and a young man of high character. The bride was born and brought up in Neillsville, graduated from the high school in the class of 1915, did some post graduate work and has taught school with good success. In school and in social affairs among the young people of her acquaintance she is deservedly popular.
The young couple left for a wedding trip, and on their return, will begin housekeeping on the Weast farm, which is being carried on by the groom.
We join in wishing them success and happiness.
