AUGUST PRUST.
Mr. Prust was born in Germany in 1848 and came to America when he was 18 years old. He settled in Brown county, Wis. when he first came from Germany and lived there twelve years. Then moved to Calumet County where he was married in 1876 and came to Clark County in 1880. He owns and occupies a farm of one hundred and twenty acres, thirty-five acres of which is improved. Mr. Prust was assessor of his town in 1882; member of the town board of Fremont (the town of which he is now a resident) in 1885, and is now treasurer of his town.
