Klann, Helen (Marriage - 17 Apr 1918)
Mr. Fred Seif, Jr. of Neillsville, Clark County, Wis., and Miss Helen Klann of Pine Valley, Clark County, Wis., were married April 17, 1918 at the German Lutheran Parsonage, Rev. H. Brandt officiating. They were attended by Otto Kopplin of Portage, and Miss Frieda Klann, sister of the bride. In the evening a fine reception was give at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. August Klann, at which a large number of relatives were present. A sumptuous supper was served and a fine social time enjoyed by all in attendance. The young couple left for a two week trip, visiting friends and relatives at Dale, Antigo and other places.
The groom is the son of Mayor Fred Seif and wife, and is associated with his father and brother in the machinery business here. He is a young man of high character and business enterprise, and well liked by all, both in a social and a business way.
The bride is a young lady who also stands high in the esteem of all who know her, and is possessed of all the necessary good qualities and skill to take her place in a new home.
The young people will begin housekeeping at the home of the groom's parents. We wish them juch happiness.
