Crandall, S. M. (16 Nov 1861 - 7 Jul 1918)
Word was received here that S. M Crandall died at Settlewood, a suburb of Portland, Ore., July 7, 1918, the cause of his death being anemia from which he suffered over a yar. He was born at Jefferson, Wis. Nov. 16, 1861; came to Neillsville, Clark County, Wis. and was here married to Miss Maude Perry. About fifteen years ago they went to Duluth, and then went west, living for a time at Everett, Wash and for several years near Portland, Ore., about a year ago moving into the city. He leaves a wife and five children, on of whom, Lona Perry, attended high school here a year ago, living with her grandmother, Mrs. Geo. Trogner. Mr. Crandall has many old friends here who will learn of his death with sorrow.
Burial took place at the Settlewood Cemetery.
