John Begley, a prominent young farmer of the town of York, Clark County, Wis., died at his home July 14, 1918, of cancer. He was born May 9, 1879, being the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Begley. He grew to manhood in the town of York, and was married Dec. 2, 1908 to Miss Mary Buddinger.
John Begley was a man who had the respect of every person who knew him; he was honorable and upright, a just and accommodating neighbor a good son and brother and a kind husband.
He leaves to mourn his death his wife, parents, three brothers: George, Howard and Edward, and one sister, Miss Grace Begley.
The funeral took place July 16th at the York Center M.E. Church.
