Dewhurst, George K. (Mar 1829 - 22 Augl 1918)

George K. Dewhurst, who will be well remembered by many people here (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.), died Aug. 22, 1918 at the home of his nephew, S. M. Dewhurst, at Elyria, Ohio, aged 89 years and 5 months. He was born in Massachusetts, but came to Ohio when quite young and made his home there all of his life except several years when he lived in Neillsville. He was a brother of the late Richard Dewhurst of this city.

He was a man of sterling character and uprightness and had the respect of all who knew him. He leaves one brother, a nephew and two nieces, on of whom is Mrs. W. L. Hemphill of this city.
