(22 May 1886 - 1 Dec 1918) Mrs. A. L. Bissel
died at her home west of the city (Neillsville, Clark County, Wis.)
Sunday, Dec. 1, 1918, from double pneumonia. Mrs. Bissel was
born May 22, 1886 in the town of Pine Valley, her maiden name being
Lovilla Parker. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Hezekiah Parker,
early settlers in that town. There she grew to womanhood, and in
1901 she was married to Aaron Leroy Bissel, who survives her. She
leaves two children, Blanche and Esther. Mrs. Bissel was much loved
by all her associate. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors and
Rebekahs, and among its membership she had very many warm friends.
She was a good wife and mother, taking great interest in the care
and education of her little girls, and doing all in her power to
help them along in their school work, and make them comfortable and
happy. Her death leaves a
sad vacancy in the home and the neighborhood. The funeral will take
place from Lowes undertaking rooms Thursday at 1 o'clock, Rev. H.
