COUNTY REPUBLICAN & PRESS (Neillsville, Wis.) 12/12/1918 Begley, Howard
(1882 - 5 Dec 1918) Howard Begley, one
of the most progressive and promising young farmers of the town of
York, Clark County, Wis., died on Thursday, Dec. 5, 1918, aged 36
years. He was born in York and lived there all his life, being the
son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Begley. Ten years ago he was married to
Miss Sadie Barton, daughter of Mrs. Anna Barton. She, with her two
children, Selma and Russell, are left to mourn his too early
death. Mr. Begley was an
honest upright citizen, an industrious and thrifty farmer, a kind
son and loving husband and father. His death is a great loss to his
family and to the entire community. Besides his wife
and children he leaves his parents, two brothers, Edward and
George, and one sister, Grace Begley. A brother, John, died last
July. The funeral was
held Saturday at the York Center Church. © Every submission is protected by the Digital Millennium Copyright Act
