JAN 1886 - 14 Dec 1918) Leon Langraf died
Dec. 14, 1918 at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John
Langraf, of pneumonia, which followed influenza. Leon was born here
in Neillsville, Clark County, Wis., Jan. 1, 1886, and lived all his
life here. Twelve years ago he was married to Miss Edna Gerke, who
died eight years ago last May. Deceased was an
industrious man and was an expert in various lines of work. He was
quiet and unobtrusive in his manner and well liked. He leaves two
little boys, Lester and Glenn, also his parents, one brother,
Leroy, in the army in France, and one sister, Mrs. Wm. Weast. Burial took place
Saturday afternoon, Christian Science services being held.

I do believe you have spelled Leon's family name wrong. There is a "d" in his
last name. Also you have the wrong date of birth for him. He was born in 1886.
If he was born in 1896, he would have been 14 when he married and I do not think
that was the case.
I know that sometimes the newspaper that you transcribed from is wrong but I
wanted to put in the correct name and DOB.
