Luck, Sophia (? - 13 Feb 1919)

Mrs. Carl Luck died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Geo. Rupprecht, Sr., Feb. 13, 1919. Deceased was born in Germany and grew to womanhood there. Her maiden name being Sophia Haase. She was married to Carl Luck in 1857; they came to America in 1882 and lived at Waukesha till 1888, when they moved to the town of Levis, Clark County, Wis. Her husband died in 1913. For several years she has lived with her daughter, Mrs. Rupprecht.

She leaves six children: Mrs. Rupprecht, Mrs. Deabel of Waukesha, Mrs. Eggebrecht of Milwaukee, Chas. Luck, August Luck and Mrs. Henry Gehrt of Levis; she leaves also 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

The funeral was held Sunday at the Lutheran Church, Rev. H. Brandt officiating.
