Williams, Evan (10 FEB 1846 - 25 Feb 1919)

Evan Williams, formerly well known here, died at his home in Fond du Lac Feb. 25, 1919. Deceased was born in England Feb. 10, 1846; came to America in 1871; was married to Miss Jennie Wade July 4, 1882. They made their home in Pine Valley, Clark County, Wis., west of this city until 1903, when they moved to Fond du Lac.

Mr. Williams was highly esteemed by all who knew him. He was a man of quiet disposition and upright character. He is survived by his wife and one brother, David H. Williams, of Pine Valley. The funeral was held here Friday, Rev. L.B. Colman officiating.
