Youmans died May 4, 1919 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Celia
Winton in West Pine Valley, Clark County, Wis. She was born July
9, 1838 at Wysocks, Penn. She was married to Miles Youmans Feb. 1,
1856 and in 1863 moved to Brodhead, Wis. Three children were born
to Mr. and Mrs. Youmans: Franklin Monroe, Mrs. Celia Winton of Pine
Valley and Mrs. Hattie Grimes of West Union, Iowa. Franklin died
about 15 years ago. After living about
four years at Brodhead, the family moved to West Union, Iowa. Last
August Mr. and Mrs. Youmans came to Pine Valley to make their home
with Mrs. Winton. Deceased was a woman of high character. She
united with the M. E. Church when about twenty years of age and led
a life of a consistent Christian. The funeral was held Wednesday,
