Neff, Madalyn (20 SEP 1907 - 16 Nov 1919)

Madalyn Neff, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Neff of this city, died at the Marshfield Hospital Sunday, Nov. 16, 1919, about twenty-four hours after a surgical operation for a complicated case of appendicitis.

Madalyn was born in Neillsville, Clark County, Wis., Sep 20, 1907, and has lived here all her life. She was a bright and beautiful little girl, dutiful in her home, studious in her school work and sweet and helpful to all about her. No words can express the sorrow that her death has brought to the home. Her death came so suddenly that those who saw her but a short time ago, so strong and full of life, can scarcely realize that she has gone. No one who knew her can help but sympathize with the bereaved parents and the little brothers and sister.

The funeral, which was private, was held at the home Wednesday, Rev. L. B. Colman officiating.

Mr. and Mrs. Neff and family have a very keen appreciation of the many expressions of sympathy, the flowers and the little acts of kindness that have come to them at this time from their friends.
