(17 Nov 1825 - 2 Dec 1919) Elizabeth Scott
was born Nov. 17, 1825 in Ill., and was united in marriage to Frank
Weeding in 1841. To this union five children were born, Harriet,
who is Mrs. Fred French of Montague, Cal, James of Portland,
Oregon, Henry, who served 3 years in the Civil War, died in Baton
Rogue, La., In 1865 waiting for his discharge. Laura died in 1884
and Amanda, who was Mrs. Wm. Green, died Nov. 1, 1918. Mr. Wedding
died in 1856. In 1861 Mrs. Wedding was married to George Leopold of
Pa., four children were born to them, Dell and Louis, who died in
infancy, Mary and John, who live in the town of Levis, Clark
County, Wis. Mr. and Mrs. Leopold came to Wisconsin in 1865,
settling in the Black River Valley. Mr. Leopold died
in 1884. Mrs. Leopold has 26 living grandchildren and 35
great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. She passed away
at the age of 94 years and 15 days, Dec. the 2nd 1919 at the home
of her daughter, Mrs. George Schultz. The funeral was
held at the Dells Dam Church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. *************************** Responses Obit:
